Rate Hikes for Modesto Irrigation District to be Decided Tuesday

Residents in Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties, that receive electrical service from MID, face their fourth rate hike in four years.  MID's board of directors is expected to decide the matter this Tuesday (11/27/07).  Ideas on the board include higher rates, a new tiered rate structure, new surcharges, and more.
